The Story

Once you make your own cocktail sauce, you'll never go back to the bottle. Fresh horseradish makes all the difference.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp prepared horseradish (or more to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce

Instructions

Stir everything together in a bowl.

Taste and adjust — more horseradish for heat, more lemon for brightness.

Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Serve with shrimp, oysters, or crab legs.
