Old Bay Crab Dip
Hot, bubbly, and dangerously addictive. This dip disappears in minutes at every hangar party.

The Story
“I brought this to a crew party once and had three captains ask me for the recipe before the bowl was empty. It's dead simple but hits every note — creamy, savory, a little heat.”
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 8 oz lump crabmeat, picked over
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Beat together cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, Old Bay, Worcestershire, hot sauce, and lemon juice until smooth.
Fold in crabmeat, 3/4 of the cheddar, and half the green onions.
Spread into a baking dish, top with remaining cheddar.
Bake 18–20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top. Garnish with remaining green onions.
Serve hot with crackers, toasted baguette, or Old Bay-seasoned pita chips.
What to Drink
Cold lager or a sparkling rosé.
